Enjoy homemade pizza in a snap with this Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread Recipe! It’s simple to prep, beginner-friendly, and satisfies with melty cheese, salty bacon, and creamy ranch. Serve these flatbreads for an easy weeknight dinner, game day get togethers, snack time, and more!

Two flatbread pizzas topped with sliced chicken, bacon, melted cheese, a drizzle of ranch dressing, and chopped green onions are served on white plates on a blue cloth, with a tiled wall in the background.

Why You’ll Love This Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread Recipe:

  • Great Pizza Alternative: Skip the fuss of many homemade chicken bacon ranch pizza recipes. Swapping naan flatbread instead of a typical pizza dough crust makes the recipe quick and accessible without sacrificing texture and flavor.
  • Fast and Beginner-Friendly: No complicated techniques or tools are needed to make this quick and easy recipe. Just every day ingredients, a cutting board, sheet pan, and oven.
  • Comforting and Tasty: Chicken bacon ranch and pizza come together for a satisfying and delicious meal or hearty snack. My family loves when I make it and it’s always a hit at get-togethers.

Let’s Get Started! Here’s What You’ll Need:

Ingredients for a flatbread pizza are arranged on a countertop: naan/flatbread, chopped green onions, diced chicken breast, ranch dressing, shredded mozzarella cheese, and cooked bacon pieces. Each is labeled.

Ingredients:

Flatbread - I recommend naan because of its soft but thick texture, but you can use other types of flatbread, such as pita bread and Stonefire brand artisan bread.

Ranch Dressing - This is a crucial flavoring ingredient of the chicken bacon flatbread pizza, so use your favorite good-quality dressing whenever possible.

Mozzarella Cheese - You will need 4 ounces, or roughly 1 cup, of shredded cheese. For the best melting, shred it yourself with a block or hand grater, though you can use pre-grated for convenience.

Chicken Breast - One of the stars of this flatbread recipe! Use pre-cooked chicken for convenience, or bake or sauté it for the recipe. You can also use shredded rotisserie chicken. Measure out 4 ounces of cooked chicken, or a generous ¾ cup.

Bacon - Cooked bacon adds rich, salty, and comforting flavor. Use pre-cooked for convenience, or bake or fry it before assembling the chicken bacon ranch flatbread recipe.

Green Onion - This garnishes the pizza, giving the pizza a peppery finish, the perfect complement to the tangy dressing and rich bacon!

Equipment:

Cutting Board and Knife - Use these to chop the cooked chicken breasts and crispy bacon into small pieces.

Baking Sheet - I recommend a non-stick baking sheet to keep the chicken ranch flatbread from sticking. Or, line a traditional sheet pan with aluminum foil.

Measuring Cups - For measuring the ingredients! Or, eyeball the cheese and shred approximately a cup!

Pizza Cutter - To slice the homemade chicken bacon ranch pizza before serving. If you don’t have a pizza cutter, you can also use kitchen scissors.

How to Make Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread

Prepare

Preheat the oven to 400°F and place the flatbread on a non-stick baking sheet. If you need to chop any of your toppings, go ahead and do that now as well.

Add Ranch and Mozzarella

Spread 2 tablespoons of ranch dressing on each naan flatbread almost to the edges. Divide the cheese between the two flatbreads.

A hand sprinkles shredded cheese onto flatbread with sauce on a baking sheet. A bowl with more cheese is nearby on a granite countertop.

Add Bacon and Chicken

Divide the chicken and bacon between the two flatbreads, spreading it out on top of the cheese.

Bake and Serve.

Bake the flatbreads for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the flatbread is crisp. Drizzle with the remaining ranch dressing and sprinkle with sliced green onions. Enjoy hot!

Flatbreads topped with chicken, bacon, cheese, sliced green onions, and a drizzle of white sauce are served on square white plates, placed on a blue and white cloth and a woven placemat.

Recipe Success Tips

  • Preheat the oven. A piping hot oven allows for even baking, melty cheese, and lightly crisp flatbread. To save on time, prep the toppings and assemble the flatbreads while the oven preheats.
  • Adjust toppings as desired. For a cheesier flatbread, add more cheese. Satisfy heartier appetites with more chicken or bacon. Ranch fanatics may enjoy more ranch.
  • Optional flavor variations. Add your own twist to this recipe for chicken bacon ranch pizza by using spicy or taco ranch dressing, swapping cubed turkey lunch meat for the chicken, topping with halved cherry tomatoes or sliced olives after baking, or using a different cheese, like Monterey Jack or cheddar!
