Chicken Adobo is a Filipino dish that braises bone-in chicken in a savory, tangy sauce with onions and garlic. Even if you've not had a lot of Filipino food, this dish uses ingredients you probably already keep in your kitchen and most certainly can find at any major grocery store.

Meat: 3 lb bone-in chicken
Veggies: 1 large onion
Sauce Base: 1 cup soy sauce, ½ cup white vinegar
Spices: 4 garlic cloves, 2 bay leaves, black pepper to taste, and cilantro to garnish
