Slow Cooker Maple Honey Turkey Breast (Bone-In)

This bone-in turkey breast gets covered with a quick homemade maple honey glaze, then slow cooked to perfection for an easy and delicious dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 lb turkey breast bone-in, defrosted
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Instructions
 

  • Open turkey packaging, drain excess liquid from the meat, and discard gravy packet. Place the turkey in your slow cooker.
  • Combine all remaining ingredients in a small bowl and whisk together. Pour over the turkey breast.
  • Cook on LOW for 6 hours, or HIGH for 3 hours, until the meat reaches 170 degrees F in the thickest part.
  • Slice and serve. Slices can be dipped in the liquid at the bottom of the crock pot if desired.

Notes

For more consistent color, rotate the turkey breast about ⅔ into cooking to allow the maple honey mixture more contact with both sides.
If your turkey breast doesn't allow your lid to seat properly, you can use aluminum foil to cover the slow cooker.
