Cheesy Kielbasa Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz kielbasa sausage package sizes may vary- roughly one pound
  • 1 ea small onion
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 8 oz penne pasta or other short pasta
  • 14 oz chicken broth
  • ½ cup milk
  • 4 oz cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions
 

  • Cut onion and smoked sausage. Melt butter in pan and add onion and kielbasa, browning on medium high heat for 2-3 minutes. Add garlic and cook another 30 seconds.
  • Add broth, pasta, and milk to pan. Cover and heat until boiling, then reduce heat to simmer, stirring occasionally. For penne, cook about 15 minutes.
  • Once pasta is tender, stir in cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper and enjoy!
