This dump & go slow cooker Italian pepper steak is perfect for busy weeknights and lazy weekends.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb steak bites I used sirloin
  • 1 ea onion medium
  • 1 ea bell pepper
  • 14.5 oz petite diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Prepare your onion, pepper, and meat by chopping into bite-sized pieces.
  • Combine all ingredients in your slow cooker and stir together.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Serve over egg nooodles, rice, or mashed potatoes.

Notes

To make in an instant pot, cook on high pressure for 20 minutes and release pressure naturally.  If dish was frozen raw for meal prep, cook for 30 minutes on high pressure (tip: freeze without the tomatoes and add them the day of cooking so they can provide the liquid to come to pressure without thawing).
